Vacation

So, I am so happy and blessed right now in my life. My parents bought our tickets for us to be able to fly home for Christmas. We're able to visit for almost 3 weeks between our two families. Right now I'm staring at Norm and Tim (my brother) play on the Wii that my parents bought for Christmas. They opened the present early so that we could play on it.
It is truely funny and I need to download pics so I can show them off!
On a good note I've had an awesome time going shopping with Granny and spending time with my family. But on a bad note Karson's been sick.
He's been throwing up and running a fever all day. It's horrible.
Tomorrow is mine and Norm's anniversary. 4 yrs together... seems like just yesterday I was walking down the aisle, but on the other hand I feel like we've been together our whole lives! My parents bought us a hotel room and grandparents gave us money to go out to eat. SO we're planning on having a good time tomorrow!!! :D
I think that's it for now. Can't think of anything else.

Christmas Time

So, we put up our tree yesterday! :) I love this time of year. It's sad it only lasts for a month! Karson of course doesn't really know what's going on, but Caden had lots of fun. Last night I had wrapped a lil over half the presents and today he helped me by putting the bows on. At first he thought all the presents were for him, but I had to tell him that some were for Karson and mommy and daddy. Then we had a game of trying to guess what each present was. And then finally we decorated our Christmas ornaments. Norm made a really cool one with a christmas tree on one side and all our names on the other. And Caden got very creative with his. I will cherish this ornament for many years, especially when he gets older and doesn't care as much for it.

Now we're sitting here watching National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. Gotta say, it's a pretty cute movie! :)

All About Me

Ok, so this is my first post. :) My name is Leslie. I'm 23yr old Army wife and mommy! :) I'm married to the love of my life. Dec 23, 2005. I've known him since I was in 7th grade, but we never dated until after high school. We have 2 boys together. Caden Ray and Karson David. Caden was born June 18, 2006 (father's day) and Karson was born March 14, 2009 (my birthday) We're thinking of having more kids, but not too sure yet.
I am blessed to be able to stay at home with my boys. I'm so glad I'm able to care for them and not have to work and have someone else do it. Sure sometimes it's tough and they stress me out, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Norm (my hubby) is an ENT tech (ears, nose, and throat) but before that he was a combat medic. We've gone through one 15 month deployment, and I'm not going to lie, it was pretty tough. But it was awesome for our marriage. We were closer afterwards then ever before. I can honestly say I know more love in one homecoming then some people know in their whole lifetime! :)
Um... a little more about me... I love music! I've had 12 yrs of lessons, and now I'm giving them. I have 2 yrs of college towards my music education degree and I'd love to be able to finish that some day soon.
I hate cleaning... I know, it comes with the territory, but my gosh... it's so redundant!
I love sports. I played basketball in high school and college. Even won a National Championship. :) I also love running and riding bikes, and playing tennis. I ran track and cross country in high school. I really hated it then, but I was good. State qualifier in track all 4 yrs and 3 yrs for cross country.
I do however, HATE to watch football on tv. It seems that is the only thing that happens to be on my tv though on saturdays and sundays! Is the season almost over yet?!?
